SAHS historic photograph presentation

The thirteen historic Springfield photographs in their 2016 calendar will be the basis of the Springfield Art & Historical Society meeting at 2pm on Saturday, January 16th.

Photo Provided SPRINGFIELD, Vt. - The thirteen historic Springfield photographs in their 2016 calendar will be the basis of the Springfield Art & Historical Society meeting at 2pm on Saturday, January 16th, at their new location on Rt. 106 in North Springfield (the Cota & Cota building). Using a power-point format, Bunni and Hugh Putnam will provide additional descriptions and information for each picture, and additional photographs will be included to expand the historical perspective. “Winter Time” is the theme for the new displays and paintings from the Art and Historical collection. Be sure to come as the theme will change again in three months. The program is free and the public is cordially invited (we are always grateful for donations). It is not necessary to have a calendar to enjoy the program, although there may be some available for purchase. The museum is open every Saturday from 1-4pm. There is no admission charge.
