Springfield man wanted for furlough violation
Authorities are searching for a Springfield man who has violated the conditions of his furlough.

SPRINGFIELD — Authorities are searching for a Springfield man who has violated the conditions of his furlough.
Michael Runnells, 43, failed to show up for a scheduled Batterer Intervention Program group meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 26 and has not had contact with Vermont Department of Corrections staff since.
Authorities declared Runnells as having escaped furlough at 2:17 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1.
Runnells was sentenced for simple assault and domestic assault.
He is described as a white male standing 5-feet-7-inches tall and weighing approximately 175 pounds, with brown hair, blue eyes, and a fair complexion.
Runnells’ last known address is 8 Davidson Hill Road, North Springfield, Vermont.
