Phone search traces larceny suspect November 27,2016 Staff report WESTMINSTER — A Springfield woman has been charged with stealing a coat containing an iPhone and keys to the Westminster Central School. Vermont State Police said Jacquelyn Fougere, 23, of Springfield, was charged with petit larceny for the Nov. 22 theft. Police said the owner of the phone was able to trace it by turning on the lost phone feature about an hour after she discovered it missing at the school, and it revealed the phone was in Springfield. State police went to Fougere's residence and found she was in possession of the phone, as well as the owner’s coat and the school's keys. Fougere was released after being cited for petit larceny. She is due in Windham Superior Court on Jan. 17.
