On Monday, Dec. 5, at 1 p.m., Paulette Shambo will be teaching on ornament decorating class at the Springfield Senior Center. The class is open to all who would like to join, just show up at 1 p.m. — there is no class size limit.
Tuesday, Dec. 6 is a VNA Foot Clinic Day. Appointments are necessary and are $20 per person. To schedule an appointment today, please call the senior center.
On Wednesday, Dec. 7, at 1 p.m., Paul Ippolito will at the senior center to perform different holiday music along with some other popular hits that you may know. Come join us as we sing along and have a great time. An Ice Cream Social will be served after Paul is done performing.
On Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 1 p.m., the Springfield Senior Songsters will be performing their Christmas Performance. Come and join us for the wonderful celebration. This will also be the same day as our Christmas Party — come join us for goodies — who knows, you may even get to see Santa Claus. We will also be doing a gift swap at the Christmas Party — bring a wrapped gift if you would like to receive a gift.
We are currently looking for people to sign-up and bring in goodies to share for our Christmas Party, if you could please bring a snack to share, that would be wonderful.
We are also going to be working on a Springfield Senior Center Cookbook. If you would like some of your favorite recipes to be included in the cookbook, please bring them into Heather over the next couple of months.
Mark your calendars as we are planning on having a huge celebration, albeit a couple of days late, to bring in the New Years. The Springfield Senior Center has booked

Mark Shelton, Famous Elvis Impersonator and performer, to come into the Springfield Senior Center on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2017 at 1 p.m. The performance is absolutely free to everyone who joins us. Make sure not to miss this performance as it’s sure to be one of the best ones we’ve had in a while. After Mark performs, we will be providing light refreshments. As we are anticipating this to be a large event, we would appreciate everyone who is able to donate goodies to this event.

I knew Mark and Lisa Shelton at Music on the Meadow at Chester VT few years ago. They are good friends and excellent singers and he sang as Elvis did, very candid.
