The new hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. To make an appointment, please call (802) 885-2505. The animal hospital had to find a temporary home following a fire on Jan. 19 that started in the crematorium vent. The fire caused heavy damage to the building but there was no loss of life or injuries to humans or animals. “The damage was very extensive,” said Dr. Dena Meehan, co-owner and veterinarian at the animal hopsital. “Everything was lost — equipment, supplies, medications.” They are now set up in the new location while repairs are being done on their former home and expect to be there for six months, according to Meehan. “We have signs up at both entrances,” she said. They request that clients be patient as they’re still moving in. “We’re rebuilding but it is a process,” Meehan said.
