Memorial Day Observance


Springfield's Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony will start at 9:30 am today, Monday the 29th, at the Veteran’s Memorial Park on River Street. Following the ceremony, there will be a short parade from the Veteran’s Park to Riverside Middle School stopping at the Riverside Bridge where a wreath will be placed in the water honoring servicemen lost at sea.
