TUESDAY BASEBALL Rutland Herald | May 18, 2017 Blue Mountain 22, Whitchester 12 ROCHESTER — Tyler Curtis earned the win in relief, coming on in the third inning and allowing no runs, during Blue Mountain’s 22-12 victory over Whitchester in Central Vermont League baseball Tuesday. He also drove in two runs while Dylan Morse drove in three for the Bucks. Zach Rhoades took the loss for 2-7 Whitchester, which got three hits and three RBI from Kevin Kingsbury and a single and a triple from Colby Washburn. Whitchester will visit Twinfield on Friday and Arlington on Saturday. Otter Valley 18, Springfield 1 SPRINGFIELD — Otter Valley improved to 7-4 as Josh Beayon threw a fiveinning three-hitter with 11 strikeouts in Tuesday’s 18-1 win over Springfield. He also had three hits and drove in four runs. Colby McKay had three hits and three RBI and Dominic McCullough three hits for the Otters. Logan Whitcomb took the loss for 3-8 Springfield.
