Debbie Ankuda awarded Lions humanitarian award July 31, 2017 SpringfieldSPRINGFIELD, Vt. – Debbie Ankuda of the Springfield Lions Club was recently awarded the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award for her commitment to community and humanitarian service. The award is named for Melvin Jones, the founder of Lions Clubs International. It represents dedication to humanitarian service to the highest degree. Debbie, Springfield Lions Club and Vermont Lions Charities provide vision screenings, eyeglasses for the needy, and support to community organizations in the Springfield area.
