Explore fairy habitat at Wellwood Orchards

All children with a desire to explore the world of orchard fairies are invited to Wellwood Orchards Sunday, Oct. 7 at 1 p.m., rain or shine.

Practice magical thinking and participate in creative play by actively using small and large muscles and problem solving skills to create a habitat for the orchard fairies! We will meet to discuss fairy behaviors and habits. Together, we will forage for sticks, smooth stones, seeds, and other bits to create a space for the orchard fairies to live and play.

Please dress for the weather, wear wings if you have them, and bring a blanket or a sit-upon for story and discussion time. Feel free to gather items from your own backyard to add to the habitat. We will meet behind the sugarhouse, across from the turkeys, right in between the apple trees. If it’s raining, we will meet under the front of the sugarhouse.
