A mother and son living in the second-floor unit were able to get out. The second-floor unit was badly damaged and the first floor also sustained water damage. "People were out of the building. They evacuated just fine. The first crews knocked down pretty much a living room fire. There were some extension into the hallway and kitchen," Springfield Fire Deputy Chief Scott Richardson said. State investigators have been called in to determine the cause. At this time firefighters say it does not appear suspicious. www.wcax.com Top2018News
Springfield Fire Chief AWOL as usual.....just like at the glider crash at the airport.
ReplyDeleteI did see the fire chief using crutches today so would assume he is on medical leave. Is that okay 7:51?
DeleteSounds like between this posting and the other one just posted today, Kudos should go out to the SFD, and surrounding support, and for the Chief and previous Chiefs sounds like we have a good dept, when the Chief is not required to show, and still get success.
ReplyDelete11 Apartment saved! Nice job!
