Jenna Lavoie had a noticeable limp at Monday's court hearing. Lavoie sat directly behind the man who is accused of shooting her, 29-year-old Timothy Decelle. • "The second I saw his face and the gun, I told my brother he has a gun, go. He stepped on the gas as fast as he possible could. I heard pops, I ducked down and I felt the bullet go into my leg," she said. • Lavoie says that Decelle had been harassing her family for several weeks. On Saturday, she and a carload of people, including her husband and brother, went to Decelle's house to confront him. • "We drove to his house, we were out in the street, he yelled his name and he came around the house with a loaded, what looked like M-16 assault rifle," said Lavoie. The shooting happened on Valley Street, just off Main street in downtown Springfield. Police say that there has been a feud between the two families for several years. • "There is some differences between the two of them I guess. It has been longstanding. What those are right now specifically, I don't know," said police chief Doug Johnston. • Decelle pleaded not guilty in court. Outside he told reporter Adam Sullivan to "suck it". • Decelle was released on a $10,000 bond to appear later for the aggravated assault charge. However, the victim says she wants the charges upgraded to attempted murder. • Adam Sullivan - WCAX-TV •
