Sarah Flore of Castleton State College and Springfield, VT has been named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Field Hockey Player of the Week. Flore led the Spartans to a pair of wins this past week, scoring four goals and dishing out one assist.
Flore scored a pair of goals and one assist in a 5-4 win over Plymouth State on Wednesday. The senior captain capped the win with a rocketed game-winner from just inside the striking circle with 30 seconds remaining in regulation.
In Saturday's 4-0 win over Western New England Flore added two more goals, and has now scored two in three-straight games, all Spartan victories.
