Von Bargen’s will donate 10% of all sales made that day to the Springfield Hospital Foundation. “A core part of our Mission at Von Bargen’s is to give back to the communities we work and live in” said Renee Piper, store manager of Von Bargen’s Springfield location. “We hope many members of the community will attend this event and show their support for the Springfield Hospital Foundation and the many contributions and services they make available to the community,” she added. “The Springfield Hospital Foundation is grateful to Von Bargen’s for their generosity in hosting this event,” said Larry Kraft, director of the Springfield Hospital Foundation. “The Foundation supports the many services of Springfield Medical Care Systems. As a non-profit organization, we rely on contributions and support from local businesses and individual members of the community. This event is a wonderful opportunity for the foundation and a fun way for people to really make a difference with their purchases,” added Kraft. Miss Vermont 2010, Caroline Bright will make an appearance at the event from 5pm to 7pm to support the foundation and will be available for pictures and autographs. “It is an honor for me to be involved in this event and support such a worthwhile cause,” stated Bright. Von Bargen’s jewelry is a sponsor of, and the official jeweler to Miss Vermont. Bright will be joined by 8-year old Outstanding Teen National Princess, Sarah Gurney. Von Bargen’s will also be showcasing their newest collection from Carelle during the event. “We’re very excited to be offering Carelle jewelry in Springfield. It’s big, bold colorful and deliciously fun,” said Piper.
