Lottery announces $10,000 winner
SPRINGFIELD — Vermont Lottery officials announced Thursday that Christopher Rogstad of Springfield won $10,000 in the Mega Millions lottery game.
Rogstad purchased his lottery ticket at the H & H Pizza and Deli in Ascutney on Tuesday. The Mega Millions winning numbers were 1-14-35-50-53 and the Mega Ball was 43. Rogstad matched four winning numbers and the Mega Ball.
“Initially, I matched my ticket against a printout of the Mega Millions jackpot numbers and thought that I may have won $150. To my surprise, when I scanned my ticket, I found that I had won $10,000,” Rogstad said in a statement released by Vermont lottery officials.
There were no winners of Tuesday’s $244 million Mega Millions jackpot. Friday’s Mega Million’s jackpot is now estimated at $312 million.
I want to be the lucky winner of over $300 million tonight!
