More propaganda and delusions from the true believers who stand to profit from this half-baked scheme that robs Peter the taxpayer to pay Paul the developer for a short term gain while Springfield will be saddled with the long term misery of trying to pay for this albatross.
By the way, great framing of the shot of the out of state developer trying to wax poetic about the great hall and other nonsense associated with this misguided venture. Notice the blighted neighborhood right over his shoulder? That's the "gateway" through which one must travel to reach this inconveniently located facility.
Springfield has already proven that logos and propanda don't a thriving town make. There will be little net gain to this project and just a whole lot of shuffling of office space, if and when this place finally opens.
Check with Springfield Hospital on when they're planning on relocating their offices into the new facility and I think you'll find that plans have been pushed back, signaling that all is not well with the project. But I guess they must have needed a dose of hope from the propaganda machine to try and find more money to keep it funded.
Really now, artists are a GOOD thing. Hopefully come Christmas time they'll decorate the tree that the town can't figure out how to get out of the river.....YAY!
