Zach Fuller (3-for-3, two RBI), Cyle Machia (3-for-4, RBI), Josh Maniery (2-for-3), Jake Holland (2-for-3), Jamie MacDonald (2-for-4, three RBI) and Ryan Darling (2-for-4 with a double) all had multiple hits as Mill River improved to 7-8. Jonas Hamilton went the first five innings, allowing four hits with two strikeouts. Maniery gave up one hit over the final two innings and Eric White took the loss. The first two Springfield batters had four of the five hits. Jake Patoine had two singles and was hit twice while Mike Muther also had two hits.
