The parents of a four-year-old boy with a rare, terminal disease have created a 'bucket list' of things for him to do before he passes away.
Cole Rapini, from Springfield, Vermont, has undergone eight surgeries during his four-year battle with the undiagnosed medical condition.
Now doctors say he only has a few more years to live as the grey matter of his brain begins to deteriorate, according to WPTZ.com.

Doctors have been unable to find the cause behind the degenerative disease which has caused Cole to suffer from severe developmental delays and has left with him impaired vision and hearing.
Hundreds of hospital visits, biopsies and blood tests have not given his parents the answers they are looking for.
‘They’ve written papers on him, because they’ve never seen anything quite like it,’ Hanna Rapini, Cole’s mother, told WPTZ.com
But Cole's parents are determined the rest of their son's short life will be filled with as many happy memories as possible and have created a 'bucket list' of 81 things for him to achieve before he is snatched away from them.

Cole's parents have created a website entitled Cole's Cause where people can donate money to help the four-year-old achieve as many things on his list as possible.
He has already had a star named after him and played on a sports team and will soon ride on a carousel and go to a concert.
'We can't grieve for Cole yet, he's so much alive,' Hanna told WPTZ.com. 'He's such a happy kid. He's still here. We will deal with those emotions and those issues when they come, but right now, we just have to make the best of the time that we do have left with him.'
'Right now he's happy,' Chris, his father, said. 'It's really not fair to him for us to be a in a bad mood.'
