The McNeil Power Plant in Burlington's Intervale has produced power from wood chips for going on three decades. When it went online in 1984, it was state of the art.

  1. The McNeil biomass energy plant is already Vermont’s biggest polluter, but at least another three facilities are proposed in the state that will rival it for pollution output. Guess where?

  3. These Anti Power people complain about nuclear. One of the cleanest forms of power. They are given an alternative and complain about that as well. All while wearing and buying consumer products derived from fossil fuels......

    3. It is not a good alternative, corporate shill. It stinks and is a bigger polluter than a coal burning plant.

What's with this "corporate shill" thing. Is everyone who happens to disagree with NOSAG no classified as a "corporate shill"?

  4. Is that blue sky above that plant? What, are those trees on the hills surrounding it? But...but...I thought these plants were mass polluters and would deforest the land. Oh yeh, that was all just propanda from the NIMBY "opponents"!
