Condon scores game-winner for Springfield to defeat Colonels

Springfield 2, Brattleboro 1
BRATTLEBORO — Springfield’s Bri Condon scored the game-winning goal off a direct kick late in the second half to give Springfield the victory over Brattleboro.
Springfield started off the scoring when Sara Locke converted a pass from Chelsea McAllister.
Hailey Lange tied it up for the Colonels but Condon added the game-winner shortly after.
Splitting time in net for Brattleboro were Marissa Smith and Tory Speck with a combined 11 saves, while Springfield’s Lauren Bolduc made five.
Brattleboro falls to 4-8 and travels Rutland this morning.
Springfield improves to 9-2-1 and will host Mill River on Monday for their Breast Cancer Awareness game.
