What to Wear on Saturday?

The Springfield Historical Society will have a booth at this Saturday's Apple Festival where its student interns and volunteers will be dressed in fashions from the 1940s.

  5. I enjoyed reading the blog posted above. It's nice to see young people taking an interest in the past.

Because I don't see a way to contact the moderator(s) of this site directly - I believe there is something wrong with the first comment. It's crude and unnecessary, like so many comments left on this blog. This blog is a nice resource and it's a shame to see so many people abuse it with trashy comments. Comments are supposed to be "polite and on-topic". I realize people are free to say what they want but I hope in the future the moderator(s) of this blog will do a better job of eliminating inappropriate comments.
    Thank you,
    Sue

    1. Our interpretation was it was just some joker's come back line in reaction to the title being phrased as a question and had nothing to do with the content of the article or persons in it. See no reason to take it any more serious than a "Drive Naked" bumper sticker on a passing car.

  6. @admin - That may be true. However, it seems to me that as several people have found it offensive the comment should be removed. Either that or delete this whole post and have it done with.
