Video: Checking out Green Mountain Power's new Smart Meters

A radio frequency detector permits anyone to investigate two smart meter safety claims made by Vermont utility companies: 1) They transmit only a few times a day. 2) The RF radiation is indistinguishable from background RF more than 3 feet away.

    1. There is nothing fake about the video. The levels are very high within 10 feet. 50 feet is barely a "safe" distance. The Vermont Department of Health reported higher numbers: 1,200,000 microwatts per square meter 12" from the smart meter.
