HOW MANY PEOPLE GOT A NEW GUN FOR CHRISTMAS?
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas! Now, do you think you could take your new
gun to a firing range, please?
I went to the cemetary on North Street in Chester, Vermont
to visit my Mother's grave, and the neighbor started shooting
off his/her gun. I couldn't see which neighbor.
There is a narrow stream running and bushes
between the graveyard and the nearest neighbor
(from Rte. 103 his house is behind the Christmas Tree stand)
to the north,
of where Mom is buried in the north east corner of the graveyard,
just feet from where cows graze.
If he/she was shooting and aiming north, from the house
nearest the north east corner of the graveyard, then he/she would hit
cows outside grazing or the next neighbor's barn, same as
if he/she were shooting east.
If he/she were shooting west, from the house nearest the
north east corner of the graveyard,
then they'd hit the Christmas Tree/Pumpkin/Vegetable/Strawberry, etc.
stand on Rte. 103.
That means the reason my dog was hysterical and wanted to
leave immediately, was that he/she was aiming too close to us.
The dog and I walked home and I considered calling his/her
mother who lives in the house just south of mine on Church St.
which intersects Rte 103.
My house is separated by the alleged gun shooter's house
by the Christmas Tree Stand and the Country Store, so my house
is the second building away, across Rte 103.
I wanted to call her and tell her that her son/and or daughter in law
are "Heathens!" but there was a nice Christmas message from
my niece on the phone machine.
So, here I am VENTING and then I'll call my niece back.
What is Sooooooooo hard about driving over to the firing range?
You know, I'm not the only person who wants to visit their
family in the graveyard on Christmas!
Thanks a lot!
Cris Ericson
ps. Merry Christmas anyway. Don't shoot goats.
Hey Chris, I shot my gun today. It was on MY property that I pay for that I pay taxes on. I'd be willing to bet the guy you are speaking of probably pays taxes on their property as well. It is my right to shoot my gun on my property when I want to. Understandably if they are within city limits then they probably shouldn't be doing that in town. I'm sure the dog you own barks once in awhile and it makes noise. Do your neighbors call the cops on you?
DeleteSpeaking of the dog...he/she must be very smart to know that whoever was shooting their gun was aimed very close to you. That must be hard to train them to know a gun is just aimed NEAR you! My dog freaks out a little bit when I pull my guns out to clean them or shoot them as well, the noise startles him. We have learned to put him in my bedroom away from the field I shoot near. He is calm when I come back in.
I'd think the "shooter" has a little sense and a little more smarts to know where to aim safely. It's people like you that are driving the train for gun control because you assume that they don't know what they are doing and punishing the rest of us responsible gun owners who do. I agree that maybe something can be done to make sure people who shouldn't own guns can't get their hands on them. There also needs to be a way that us, the responsible gun owners need not be punished. I bought ammo for all of my guns last week and was punished by a cap on the amount of ammo I could buy. I was also punished as I wanted to buy an AR style rifle in February but uncle Obummer will have that ruined by then I'm sure. All because some mentally unstable person STOLE a gun he didn't own and shot a bunch of people. STOP BLAMING THE GUN AND START BLAMING THE CRIMINAL!
I typically don't agree with the gun toting, 2nd amendment nut jobs, but I actually fear cris ericson more than them. If Cris ever was in public after smoking those bath salts she likes so much, I think I am going to wish I had a gun.
DeleteJust what does any of this have to do with goats???
ReplyDeletebecause the GOAT above said,
Delete"Mmmm-aa-aa-ary Christmas!"
to the anonymous above with the bath salts comment:
ReplyDeleteI don't smoke bath salts,
I don't smoke marijuana.
I do run a political campaign to legalize marijuana.
I'm a 60 year old woman.
My grandfather was born on a Hemp Farm.
I believe we should Restore Our Country.
I believe you should own a gun if you want and know how to use it.
I think every town should have a town hall and a library and police station and a fire department and a firing range.
Maybe that will be my 2014 political campaign:
make certain there is a family friendly firing range in every town,
so that people who want to visit
their deceased family in a graveyard
can do so in peace.

So you want to make something that is illegal legal and something that is in the consittution illegal? Ohh please tell me more
ReplyDeleteSorry about my grammar, my neighbors were out shooting their guns and I was on the phone with the local pd crying about it at the same time. Now I need to find my lighter and some papers....ohh heck, I'll just use my bong that was designed for tobacco use only.
