  3. I hope the animals weren't in pain befor they were gone....I didn't get to know the pigs but I loved them quail and the owner has an amazing family....but know matter what anyone say's responding to this it was most likely negligence that started it....leaky buildings with bad wiring....non certified electrical work open flame propain heaters five feet from the ground where wood shavings lay and thousands of birds with cobwebs ALL over the place accident or not the reason it NEGLIGENCE once again sorry the lives of those beautiful animals were taken du to negligence....

    1. Life is the result of negligence. Barns being lost to fire is the result of negligence.... of the sfd.

    3. I agree that they were negligent! They did not engage their esp that morning to know exactly when the fire would break out! They didn't use the rocket fuel that they use to gas up the trucks so they could magically fly to the scene! And those other guys, who probably woke from a sound sleep, only to get in their vehicles to get to the station, then get on a truck to get there...they should've been faster, right?

Please...again, HOW is any of this related to negligence on the firefighters parts? The barn, was FULLY INVOLVED, as per an SPD officer PRIOR to the arrival of the truck. What don't you understand? Do you really send firefighters into a fully involved fire to save something that's already gone? Or do you allow them to save the remaining buildings and birds?

Maybe you should watch the follow up news clip, where the workers/owners gave the firefighters CREDIT for saving what they could.

And really..."life is the result of negligence"? Every life is valuable.
