Burglary at Springfield Redemption Center

Police are investigating a burglary at the returnable bottle & can redemption business on Chester Road.

On April 17th at 8:30 a.m. officers responded to the Springfield Redemption Center on Chester Road for a report of a burglary. In speaking with a representative of the business, it was determined that a safe that was bolted to the floor containing a substantial amount of cash was stolen. It is believed that one of two vehicles that were stolen that same night on Chester Road was used in the commission of this burglary.

If anyone has any information regarding this burglary, the location of the safe taken, or any other details, you are asked to contact Corporal Morancy at 802-885-2113. Remember: Info=Yes Your Name=Not Necessary.
