"Take a Seat in Springfield" auction at the AIR CONDITIONED HARTNESS HOUSE this evening! Over 60+ beautiful creations by talented artists from throughout the region to support Springfield On The Move's Downtown Revitalization efforts. Plus a raffle and a silent auction of prizes donated by local businesses.
Springfield On the Move has been collecting chairs, benches, stools and tables which many talented local artists have put their personal touch on. You can see these beautiful one of a kind items located in businesses around Springfield. Photos of these many creations can be viewed at www.lashuastudio.com/SOM.
The Auction will begin with a preview and social hour from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the historic Hartness House Inn. There is no admission charge, and hors d’oeuvres will be available.
Auctioneer John Hall will lead the bidding on more than 50 beautifully decorated items.
In addition, there will be a silent auction. Many great prizes are already lined up, with more coming in each day! There will be a chance to bid on 100 gallons of heating fuel, donated by HB Energy Solutions, a print donated by Dan O’Donnell, as well as additional items from Von Bargen Jewelers, The Weathersfield Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Springfield Food Coop, Springfield Cinemas 3, Riverside Restaurant, The Hole in the Hill Bar and Grill, the Springfield Diner and more.
Raffle tickets are on sale now for a beautiful park bench designed by Barbi Weaver. Tickets are available at the Springfield Community Market on Saturday’s, at the Springfield On the Move office at 6 Valley Street, or by talking to a SOM board member.
