The annual event comes from the heart of students enrolled in the Springfield High School Arts Academy and the River Valley Technical Center Culinary and Hospitality programs. This year's dinner was held in the Springfield High School Cafeteria and for a $20 donation, attendees received an artistic handmade ceramic bowl for a meal of soup, pasta, bread, along with a beverage.
Almost $3,000 of the money raised was awarded to the Springfield Family Center. $600 went to the Springfield Art & Historical Society. Photo shows Stephanie Thompson (Springfield Family Center), Maggie Stevens (grade 12), Kelsi Howard (grade 12) and Lisa Murray (SHS art teacher).
