Watercolor Workshop With Robert O'Brien Submitted by VT Journal on Fri, 12/27/2013 - 3:49pm SPRINGFIELD - Gallery at the VAULT kicks off the New Year by offering a watercolor workshop with popular instructor and watercolorist, Robert O'Brien AWS, NWS. "Painting the Winter Landscape in Watercolor", will be held Saturday, January 11 from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. The subject will be the magnificent New England landscape in winter. Students will learn to paint the snow in every aspect of its beauty. O'Brien begins with a demonstration, explaining each step of the process. Students will then paint and the instructor will provide hands-on assistance to each student. There will be a critique given at the end of class. Students are encouraged to provide their own reference photos. Workshop fee is $65 for Members/$70 for Non-members. A materials list is available upon registration.
