Glassblower Nicholas Kekic will be the guest speaker at Springfield Town Library’s annual meeting, set for tonight April 2.
Kekic is the owner of Tsuga Studios in Chester, Vt. and a third-generation glassblower. He sells his work nationwide and also exhibits in local venues, including the Vault on Main Street in Springfield.
He will bring glassblowing tools and some of his work to his talk he has titled, "So, I blow glass." The talk will include a description of his process and his experience making a living as a glassblower.
The program, sponsored by Friends of the Springfield Town Library, is free and open to the public. It follows a short business meeting. Refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the program. It all begins at 6:30 p.m.
