Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie Contest winners

At SAPCC’s Taste of Winter Market held earlier this month. Left to right: Second place winner Teri Sharpe of Springfield, first place winner Sheri Arrison of Chester, contest judge Jenevieve Johnson and third place winner Dorothy Daruka of Fairfield, Conn.

Many Thanks to all of our contestants who submitted entries into our “Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie Contest” sponsored by King Arthur Flour! We had 11 awesome entrants, and our 3 Judges had a very difficult time choosing our winners!

Congratulations go out to:

1st  Place – Sheri Arrison of Chester Vermont
2nd Place – Teri Sharpe of Springfield Vermont
3rd Place – Dorothy Daruka of Fairfield Connecticut

We’d also like to thank our excellent judges for this event, they had a tough job, although I think they had a lot of fun in the process too!

Our judges were:
1. Jenevieve Johnson, Executive Director, Springfield Chamber of Commerce and owner of Jenny Wren Café
2. Matt Downing, a Springfield resident and Chocolate Chip Cookie Connoisseur
3. Darian Holden, a Ludlow resident and Learning Together Graduate, as well as a very fine baker in her own right.
