The SkillsUSA Championships were held on Wednesday June 25 and Thursday, June 26 in H. Roe Bartle Hall and Municipal Auditorium of the Kansas City Convention Center. More than 6,000 outstanding career and technical education students - all state contest winners - competed hands-on in 99 different trade, technical and leadership fields.
Elliot and Rebekeh are students in the Audio Video Production Program at the River Valley Technical Center in Springfield. The AVP Program is open to all 10-12th grade students as well as Adult Education students both in-house and online.
Looks like there is hope for Springfield. Wonderful news.

ReplyDeleteI had no idea there was a regional, employment demand for TV producers. Oh well, at least it keeps teachers employed and makes school fun.
