Springfield woman’s petition targets drug dealers

Kimberly Bombria loves Springfield, and she hates what is happening in town. She has been collecting signatures for an anti-loitering ordinance she says is targeting drug dealers and gang members.

  1. Kimberly, you and your ilk as responsible for Springfield's plight as the wanna be gangsters dealing smack. Even as a resent transplant, I'll go out on a limb and propose you routinely vote a party line. A party line that here in Springfield and much of Vermont has destroyed economic opportunity for young adults. A party line that has pushed social agenda far ahead of judicial decorum in hard sentencing for narcotics, assault and larceny.

Think not? Then where the hell is the outrage from Emmons, Martin, Nitka and Campbell? These uber liberals should be leading a judicial recall of Judge Karen Carroll for a revolving door system that repeatedly unleashes these criminals. Instead, they have conspicuously been silent hoping to not have their feet held to the fire for the social dilemma they, themselves engineered.

And if the system isn't broken enough, I'll safely bet each of the twits in the recent escapade is unemployed, has paid housing and an EBT card. Hell, I'm surprised there's not an empty bed left in Springfield to take advantage of the taxpayer funded money tree. Have to admit, the owner of the Wilson Block knows how to play the system. Immune to the filth of the cockroaches he harbors, he rakes in tens of thousands in rent profits on a decrepit building he bought for pennies.

Yeah Kimberly, a no loitering ordinance is going to solve all of that.

    1. 9:15-what are you doing to help solve the issue? What are you willing to do? Run your mouth AFTER you propose/act on a resolution.

    2. We attempt to change the downward spiral of Springfield at the voting booth by voting for conservatives and not the liberals who are more concerned with blowing sunshine up our skirts while blindly ignoring the current state of our town.

    3. Hey 7:18, I don't see you out there leading the charge either. The Machinist offers a true perspective on the town's dilemma, but you just have to avoid the issue altogether by your snarky little rhetorical questioning of him. If you've followed this site, you'd know that The Machinist and many others HAVE offered possible solutions, but the town's elected government and it's ineffective civil servants are too cozy and well fed to be bothered to act. So, I guess we can count on your vote to help remove the progressive/liberal pied piper politicians that have merrily led this spawn of societal cancer to Vermont?

  3. Must be frustrating to not know for sure if the people are really signing your petition! She'd really be frustrated if she could see what was going on around town! Okay....I'm done

  4. The even more ironic piece to this is that piece of work Jillson-Corbisaro was standing there friday afternoon signing this petition! Like nothing happened. Actually is the epitome of what an oxy-MORON is! Really, where are Emmons, Martin, Nitka, & Campbell -do nothings?
