Perhaps we should recruit some of these talented aviators to surgically deliver ordnance onto the dilapidated and abandoned properties around town. You know, the ones Forguites can't manage to remove. Heck, a bombed out Dresden would be an improvement over what we have now.
ReplyDeleteGreat! No sleeping in the morning and hearing the planes practice all day overhead! Time to leave Springfield for a week.... There should be a time frame when these guys can practice.
ReplyDeleteSpoken like a true, NoSAG member. Maybe if you had a job or an ounce of ambition you wouldn't be inclined to lay in bed wasting your life away. As for me, no angel could sing as sweet as a radial at full throttle. So suck it up cupcake!
DeleteBut but but...
Deletethe NoSaggers WANT to lay in bed all day. They're retired, which is why they not only don't need to work, they don't want anyone else to.
Tell you what, NoSagger, I bet you can get a room cheap in the Woolson Block downtown. They even give you a little sumpin' to help you sleep better.
Probably bought a home next to the airport and wasn't informed that planes may use it
DeleteThere is always someone that has to complain *shakes head*.
DeleteSounds like one of the people who live in Burlington who own or rent next to the base that complain about the F35
DeleteWhile little, I'm sure they are stimulating our economy. While they are up here. Enjoy the free air show!
As exciting as watchimg cars go around a track...over and over...blah blah blah.....10 minutes of it and you've seen it all.
DeleteIt is an airport after all. I think it would be cool to just sit out on your lawn and watch them.
ReplyDeleteI bet you all will talk about NOSAG for the rest of you natural lives I feel sad for you it must hurt to be like that. Feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteLive in Weathersfield and after awhile it really gets to you. They kept doing this tonight until almost dark and I live several miles from the airport. Over and over and over....goes on frequently, not just this week.
ReplyDeleteIts funny cause they are only here once a year for 4 days
DeleteNot true. There are individuals who practice on weekends. There is one particular guy from CT who comes here to practice all the time. Called the airport once and was told this. He should stay down there and practice. An hour or so would be one thing but this crap goes on all day when he is up here.
DeleteCan't be any NOSAGER's in North Springfield right now. There all down in Vernon protesting the proposed Biomass being talked about at Vt Yankee. Oh wait a minute, not in their back yard? Mabe they are all home.
ReplyDeleteNoSag is at least ptretending to be concerned about the possibility of a biomass plant at Vernon. Somebody posted something to that effect on their Facebook page.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of which, NoSag themselves posted something about Germany getting 74 % of its energy from renewables. What they left out was that 30 % of Germany's energy comes from
wait for it
biomass!
So indeed they are for biomass as long as it isn't in their backyard.
Airplanes at an airport. My God what next, cars driving up and down the road?
ReplyDeleteplanes are fun to watch when they are doing interesting things..I watched Top Gun too many times apparently, because I fell in love with that plus lived next to Air Force base in Mass for a few months so its impressive...
