  1. I don't really find this all that entertaining - what is the point?

    1. Until you and the rest of the voters eject those caricatures that appear as poor substitutes for elective officeholders! Otherwise, you'll be waking up every day looking at this poor town and saying, "Doh!"

  2. Below is the information about the Simpson movie (which Springfield Vt helped to promote) and how much it grossed in sales...Did Springfield, Vt get any of this money?

The Simpsons Movie grossed a combined total of $74 million in its opening weekend in the United States, taking it to the top of the box office, and set the record for highest grossing opening weekend for a film based on a television series, surpassing Mission: Impossible II. It opened at the top of the international box office, taking $96 million from seventy-one overseas territories—including $27.8 million in the United Kingdom, making it Fox's second highest opening ever in that country. In Australia, it grossed A$13.2 million, the biggest opening for an animated film and third largest opening weekend in the country. The film closed on December 20, 2007 with a worldwide gross of $527,068,706, making it the eighth highest grossing film of 2007
