"Goals are important in life and cumulative achievements are the accomplishments that every day and every hour be appreciated for their beauty and value. The joy of an afternoon in a ballpark, feeling the sun, smelling the grass and enjoying playing the game should not be lost in the drive for championship. Similarly, everyday accomplishments at any job shouldn't be destroyed by worries over the long term success or failure of the project or company. Doing your best and enjoying it, remembering the interactions and sensations, are the things that personally give enrichment and lasting memories. Find a way to make every day fun, every task worthwhile and accomplished excellently and it really won't matter as much if life ends early or circumstances make it a transient footnote in the world."
– James Soucy
