SHSAA names Lisa Murray as 2016 Honored Guest

Each year, the Springfield, Vermont High School Alumni Association (SHSAA) selects an individual as "Honored Guest" for its annual festivities. This individual is honored to recognize the contributions and positive differences they have made in the lives of our citizens/students, schools and community. We are pleased to announce that the Association has named Lisa Murray, retired SHS Art teacher, as our 2016 Honored Guest. Lisa began teaching at Springfield High School in the late 1970's and retired in June of 2015.

Lisa will be honored at the Annual SHSAA banquet to be held on Friday, June 17th, at the VFW in Springfield, beginning at 6p.m. She will display thousands of photos of students' art and then will donate them to the Springfield Art & Historical Society. Please join us as we honor and share memories with Lisa, recognize this year's top SHS graduates, Crown the 2016 SHSAA King and Queen, introduce scholarship recipients, the Roberta Stokes Hall of Fame honorees, and enjoy a delicious dinner. For banquet reservations contact Jean Patoine at 802-591-7230 or 802-226-7904 for reservations.
