SHS Class of 1968, 50 years of memories

“In the town where I was born lived a man who sailed the sea…” said the Beatles in the first line of their 1968 hit, “Yellow Submarine.” Fifty years later, the SHS Class of 1968 created its own yellow submarine, decked it with class members clad in tie-dye and love beads, and echoed the Beatles’ hit with a chorus of kazoos.

Six classes of Springfield High School took part in the school’s 62nd Alumni Parade on Saturday, June 18.

Springfield Alumni Weekend

The 2016 Springfield High School Alumni Association Annual Banquet takes place tonight June 17th at the VFW.   The 62nd annual Alumni parade follows on Saturday morning.  Theme for this year's parade is Vacation Destinations.
