Good gravy, look who's eighty

Retired fire chief Puggy Lamphere is Springfield's newest octogenarian. Retirement '06 article: Springfield bids farewell to a local icon


A really long time ago, Puggy was employed at a neighborhood market in North Springfield.


In 2010, Puggy was persuaded to host his own TV talk show on the local cable SAPA-TV. The show was an instant hit. Shown here recently interviewing Sue Minter, Democrat nominee for governor.

    Thanks for creating that chip-board eyesore in the middle of town, and for burning the asbestos laden building and poisoning us residents, and for running a crew of firemen pervs that traded cigarettes for nudie pics to the female inmates painting the fire station......well done!
