Springfield held a key 4-2 lead during the second half but a pair of goals from BF's Keri Ticino in a matter of three minutes tied things up.

Springfield held a key 4-2 lead during the second half but a pair of goals from BF’s Keri Ticino in a matter of three minutes tied things up.
With five minutes to play, Springfield took advantage of a defensive miscue and Kim Phan drove home the game-winning goal.
Zoe Schemm and Ticino each had a lone goal for Bellows Falls in the opening half, while Springfield’s Jenna Veysey scored for the Cosmos with just four minutes remaining in the stanza.
Veysey added another in the second half, while Taylor Lyles and Phan also notched scores in the stanza to give Springfield it’s 4-2 lead.
Bellows Falls drops to 0-8 and travels to Ludlow to take on Black River at 6 p.m.
