Steampunk steams along with River Valley Tech Center students

The Information Technology students of the River Valley Technical Center have designed spine labels for the collection of Steampunk books at Springfield Town Library. While every design is brilliant, we can only use one. Vote for your favorite, in person or online.

Each student created a design and the library needs the community to vote for the design that best represents Springfield Steampunk. The student designs are on display at Springfield Town Library and on the library website, www.springfieldtownlibrary.org. You may vote in person at the library or through the link on the website. Voting takes place from December 9th to December 17th. Springfield Town Library hours are Monday through Thursday 9am to 7pm, Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 1pm. Stop by the library or website and vote for your favorite Steampunk spine label.

The library reached out to the River Valley Tech Center Information Technology teacher, Kristen Wilson, who thought this would be a super design project for her students. "This has been a wonderful collaboration and a great experience for everyone involved", commented Springfield Town Librarian Jo Coleman.
