Volunteers critically needed at warming shelter

Volunteers are critically needed to keep the Springfield Warming Shelter open as a few people are pulling multiple shifts each week. You can make a difference! Willing to split shifts if you can only do half a shift.

Mission: Provide a warm place to stay overnight for adults in need of shelter from November .

Open 7:00PM to 7:00AM, from mid-November to mid-April.

Public Transit: Guests can take the Current Monday through Friday from the Springfield Plaza that leaves between 6:20 and 6:30 pm. A bus will return guests to the plaza at 6:30 am. On weekends and holidays, the Warming Shelter provides transportation at the same times.
