Who I am..
I was born in Springfield in 1969 and grew up during the area's industrial heydays. My senior parents are former middle-class workers who continue to live in Springfield. I have three grown children of whom I'm very proud and a beautiful Granddaughter.
We all know of Vermont's aging work population and the reasons why. My children have left the area for better opportunities in New Hampshire. A large majority of my generation has left as well for the same reasons. I myself commute two hours daily for a decent wage.
This is ONE of the biggest reasons I have decided to be a voice for us all in Montpelier.
I have been an unrepresented voter just like you with few options on the ballot for far too long.
It is time to put Vermont's economy back on the map! Worst in the nation is not good enough for us!
While I commend Gray for offering to actually do something, unlike so many who bash on this site but never put their name out there, I think it's a little late in the game to ask for write-in votes. He should have attempted to put his name on the ballot.

DeleteHe might have had a valid reason for not filing in time. Our constable was sick for the entire month, could not file and as a result had to campaign for sufficient write-in votes.

DeleteHe could have done it at lunch, or his boss could have given him the day off. Unless, of course, his boss is a conservative, and doesn't believe in those union/communist things like lunch! Or days off, or sick days, or vacations, or anything else BUT killing himself working for crap money!

ReplyDeleteHow many write in votes did he garner, usually write in only get the votes of people voting against a cNdidate that is on the ballot, and normally against an incumbent.
