2017-09-07 / Arts & Entertainment 'Dances of Universal Peace' SPRINGFIELD, Vt. — At 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, the free program, "Dances of Universal Peace," with Sandra Walia Guillow, will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 21 Fairground Road in Springfield. The group continues exploring the world's religions, this week through dance. The Dances of Universal Peace are simple, meditative, joyous, multicultural circle dances that use sacred phrases, chants, music and movements to touch the spiritual essence in ourselves and recognize it in others. No musical or dance experience of any kind is required. And everyone is welcome (but not pressured) to join in. Guillow is a seasoned and enthusiastic dance leader from Connecticut who will be accompanied by her musician husband Shems William Guillow. For more information, visit www.dancesofuniversalpeace.org.
