If you are 50 years of age or older, you are eligible to be a member of the Springfield Senior Center. The Center is open Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. We are located in the Community Center at 139 Main Street.
The Senior Center is the home away from home for active Springfield area people age 50 years and older. We offer a variety of programs providing social, educational, health and recreational activities. We also offer many great trips--one-day charter trips to large overnight trips. We've been to Hawaii, Alaska, and Australia to name a few destinations. Our trips are open to all people 21 years and over, so many times we have family groups travel together.
We are a rowdy group of active seniors--very friendly--and welcome new members. Stop in and visit us!

The Springfield Advisory committee will meet Tuesday, Oct. 3, at 1 p.m. for their meeting.
Join the Springfield Senior Center on Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 1 p.m. for Nickel Bingo with Roger Newhall and the celebration of October birthdays with Dale O’Brien.
The Activities Committee will be meeting on Thursday, Oct. 5, at 11 a.m. The Springfield Knit Wits will also be meeting on the same day at 1 p.m. in the Living Room — anyone is welcome to join the Knit Wits if they would like.
Interested in taking a day trip with the Springfield Senior Center? We have one day trip left for this year with spots open. Join us for The Corvettes Doo Wop Revue: Cruise with the Springfield Roadrunners on Thursday, Nov. 9, down to Wrentham, Massachusetts to enjoy the Premier National Touring Doo Wop Show. Noted as an “incredibly entertaining show and comical stage antics,” this show is sure to leave us all wanting more. Lunch is included in the price of this trip.
Price of Trip: ACTIVE MEMBERS: $89 per person and Price of Trip: NON-ACTIVE MEMBERS: $101 per person.
