Volunteers needed for 2018 Windsor County Relay for Life | November 02, 2017 SPRINGFIELD, Vt. — The American Cancer Society is seeking people who believe big goals can be achieved by pulling together. Be a part of an inspirational, compassionate and unstoppable team of community members, leading the way to create an energetic 2018 Windsor County Relay For Life scheduled for June 23. What would YOU like it to look like? The next meeting will be held from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, at Sheri’s Place, 30 Main St., Springfield, Vermont. There will be free snacks and non-alcoholic beverages while supplies last. Plus, get a chance to win four movie admission tickets to the Springfield Cinemas 3. The drawing will be held in December. Uniting communities across the globe, the Relay For Life movement is the world’s largest fundraising event for cancer to raise awareness and show all those affected by cancer that the American Cancer Society stands with them. Funds raised help the American Cancer Society attack cancer from every angle.
