The Springfield Farmers’ Market will hold their second spring market from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at the United Methodist Church, 10 Valley St., in Springfield, Vermont.

Vendors will be offering fresh maple syrup, honey, eggs, roasting chickens, grass-fed beef, fresh ground coffee, doughnuts and baked goods including artisan breads, an assortment of pies, maple scones, cookies and more. Also available will be specialty pickles and preserves including quince jams & jelly and catered foods. An author with several juvenile Christian fiction books and a solar company will have booths. There will be a large assortment of hand-crafted items suitable for Mother’s Day gifts.

The opening date for the regular season of the Springfield Farmers’ Market is June 2, this will be the second year at their new location on lower Clinton Street in Springfield, next to Nortrax and near the trailhead of the walk/bike path. There is plenty of parking at this location.

The market still has room for qualified vendors. Vendor applications are available on their website at springfieldvtfarmersmarket.com or email springfieldfarmersmarketinc@gmail.com or call (802) 885-4096. The Springfield Farmers' Market Inc. is a vendor-run nonprofit organization.
