On June 28, 2018 Officers of the Springfield Police Department conducted an undercover operation. During said operation William Sleeper, 53, allegedly tried to buy narcotics off of an undercover Officer. As such William Sleeper was arrested for the alleged- charge of Fraud and Deceit for the attempted purchase of narcotics.
William Sleeper was cited to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Windsor Unit, located in White River Junction, Vermont, on 8/28/2018 to answer to the alleged charges.

A Woodstock man is facing charges of Fraud or Deceit after an alleged attempt to buy narcotics from an undercover police officer in Springfield, Vermont. During the operation, William Sleeper, 53, of Woodstock, Vermont allegedly tried to buy narcotics off of an undercover police officer. Sleeper was cited to appear on Aug. 28 in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division - Windsor Unit, to answer to the allegations.
