Springfield M.D. wins golf tournament

At the Valley Seniors Tournament at the Country Club of New Hampshire in Sutton, NH, Dr. Richard Marasa of Springfield, Vt. carded a 75 to win the tournament. Marasa is director of Springfield Hospital’s Emergency Department.

Paul Dallaire of Concord carded a 79 and won a tiebreaker with Bedford’s Jim Barry for third place Brian Kelly of Hopkinton shot 86 for 10th. Chester Colburn of Weare won the 75-86 age group with a net score of 62.

The Valley Seniors Golf Association sponsors tournaments for amateur men age 55 and above on some of the best courses in Southern New Hampshire and Western Vermont.
