WCAX Republican Candidates Forum – Closing remarks

Phil Scott and Keith Stern were only allowed one minute each for closing statements in their debate on WCAX Channel 3 last week. Here is the video of those brief sum ups.

  1. I think Keith Stern more than held his own even though a few of his ideas seem to be impossible to accomplish. Governor Scott seemed anxious to avoid the disappointments of his term but I'll give him extra points for his personal demeanor.
Keith really needs to smile more. He comes across as very angry. That may have worked for Donald Trump on a national level but we all saw how poorly he did here in Vermont.

    1. Of course Keith is angry; they're ALL angry. If the Far Right would just wake up and realize that they are the victims of their own policies, at least they'd know WHY they're angry!

  2. I do not expect Keith to defeat Scott but he will get my vote.

    1. I'm with you. Stern is running for the right reasons, the most important of them being returning power to the people.
