Lights! Camera! Action! Audio-video production careers take off at Springfield’s RVTC

Zach McNaughton, audio video production teacher at River Valley Technical Center (RVTC), has taught many talented students who have competed nationally and gone on to study in top colleges. This year that tradition of success continues with students Elijah Pianka and Tanner Bischofberger winning top honors in statewide and national video production contests.

GM nips Springfield

Last season, Springfield and Green Mountain baseball faced off in Chester and the game went extras. The Cosmos won that game after a series of comebacks from both teams. Saturday’s game saw a similar game play out, but this time it was GM holding off the Cosmos in the late innings to win 9-8.
