Windsor Defeats Springfield

Springfield- Windsor was behind in the first quarter 5-10 but that was the only quarter they trailed as they beat Springfield 52-37.
[[more}} Windsor's up tempo game seemed to wear down the Springfield players as Windsor came out of the locker room in the third and between Tanner Dana(13), Jacob Page(7) and Nathaniel Furman(11) they scored 17 out of 21 points in the quarter while the Jacket defense limited Springfield to only 4 points. Springfield was not done yet as they scored 18 in the fourth but Windsor dropped in another 15 points as Kyle Cushing scored 6 of his 8 points. Nate Marden chipped in 10 points as well as Eric Brown 2 points and his usual defensive effort. Windsor is ranked 13th and will play their first round of the playoffs on the road.
The JV finished their regular season on a high note by beating the Springfield Cosmos 69 to 59. Windsor came out strong in the first quarter and fed the ball inside to Tanner Tibbits who scored 10 of his game high 29 points as Springfield did not have an answer for him. At the half, Windsor was still leading 28 to 19. Springfield came out of the locker room and was on a mission and scored 22 points in the third to cut down Windsor's lead to 5 points, 46-41. Shawn Pinsonault(10 points) scored 6 of his points in the fourth along with Tanner hitting for 10 more inside points. Luke Tancreti was all over the court chipping in 13 points along with JB Griep 8 points and Ethan Hill with 7 while Tyson Boudro(2) was helping handle the ball. Six of the JV players will move up to the Tournament Team.
